Dear Friends,

The first week of the "Reclaiming
the Land"-project saw a few hiccups, but is now up and going.
The last few days have been really good and we have been able to
cover a lot of land, much thanks to the impressive work laid down by
the international volunteers. However, tomorrow (Monday November 16)
representatives from the Israeli civil administration, military and
supreme court will visit the land, to decide whether or not to let us
continue the work. A big part of the project is dependent on the
outcome of this visit, so it is important that we show that there is
international support for the project. We therefore ask you to join
us for two hours tomorrow morning. We are leaving from Cinema in
Bethlehem at 8 AM (NOT Palestinian time) and expect to be done by 10
AM at the latest.

Please contact Tobias on or 0543962038 if you are able to join us. If
you have any questions concerning the project itself, please contact
Awad of the Popular Comittee on,
0598305810 (Orange) or 0526366863 (Jawwal).

From Tuesday, we expect the project to
continue as usual, but we are still some internationals short, so
please sign up if you are able to and would like to join us.

Gradually, the coordination of projects
such as those mentioned above will be done exclusively through the
Google Group International Volunteers in Palestine (iViP). It is a
new initiative to coordinate internationals in Palestine and Israel
that want to help Palestinians in need of an international presence
to prevent harassment and attacks by Israeli settlers and occupying
forces. If you haven’t already joined the group,

please go to and do so. Then, invite
all your international friends.

Hope to see you tomorrow. Take care!
